Kuala Lumpur is the largest city in Malaysia with an average of 1.6 million people. The city is the top expat destination for MM2H holders and other expats. Kuala Lumpur was recently voted second place in the Asian city category of Expat City Ranking 2019 just behind Taipei.
Kuala Lumpur is the commercial and financial capital of the city. Headquarters of key companies are based here including PWC, Shell, and HSBC just to name a few. The city is connected by first class infrastructure including a good public transportation system consisting of buses and trains, but taxis and Uber/Grab are common throughout as well.
