90% of 3,700 MM2H applications already processed
EdgeProp Report: The Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) Task Force has already processed 90% of pending applications. This was confirmed today by Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) minister, Datuk Mohamaddin Ketapi.
MOTAC with the assistance of other agencies has cleared the backlog and now the endorsement of applicants now lies with the Home Affairs Ministry.
Prior to this, it was reported that 4,000 MM2H applications had been delayed since September last year.
Mohamaddin said the committee is currently working on 1,700 applications received this year up to March 2019
"Movetomalaysia is pleased with this news and can confirm we have received another 5 application approvals this week alone. This week we also welcomed a couple from France who have just applied for the programme with us! We hope to assist many more from all over the world in migrating to Malaysia this year."
