Government confirms MM2H task force has been set up.
KUALA LUMPUR: The task force to speed up the Malaysia My Second Home application process has been set up and the team is already vetting all applications.
The Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister confirmed that over 3000 pending applications since September 2018, are currently being vetted and approvals are expected to be completed ahead of schedule. The MM2H programme allows foreigners to migrate and stay in Malaysia for more than 10 years.
“The setting up of the task force has been completed, with applications currently being processed,“ he said.
Till end 2018 it is estimated that over 40,000 foreigners are living in Malaysia under the MM2H visa.
