New MM2H applications will be approved within 120 days.

The Ministry of Tourisms, Arts & Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) has reconfirmed its commitment to the Malaysia My Second Home programme. It confirmed the MM2H programme is an on-going programme and is still open for new applications.

In March, the ministry took immediate and proactive steps to speed up the processing of the outstanding applications for the MM2H programme.

In an article from The Star yesterday, MOTAC stated procedures are being improved to ensure that all new applications will be approved within 120 working days.

It also stated MOTAC is committed to making the MM2H programme, including the processing mechanism, more viable to ensure it remains competitive in the immigration industry.
