Task force set up to speed up MM2H approval process
Last month we heard news that more than 4,000 Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) applications have been left hanging since September. This has caused much frustration to many who are waiting to move to Malaysia under this program.
However, in response to this revelation, the government has announced today that the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture will set up a task force to speed up the approval process of the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme.
With this task force they aim to complete all 3,727 pending applications within four months.
Till 2018 it is estimated that over 40,000 foreigners from 131 countries are in the country under the MM2H program.
